Araceli Torrico Claros

Araceli grew up in a rural area.  Her father is a farmer, and her mother takes care of her siblings.  Araceli did well in school but knew that going to university would only happen in her dreams.  A local priest took notice of her when she helped out at the church.  He immediately recognized that she had both the clear capacity and fervent desire to attend university.

The priest is a friend of KTF and recommended that we provide Araceli with an application and interview for admission to KTF.  Araceli’s responses were full of energy and wisdom and reflected an insatiable desire to study Education.  We accepted Araceli into KTF without hesitation, and enrolled her in university to study Education Science.  She is currently in her 4th year of university.

“In the mission home, I love the Integral Education program. It helps me not only in my academic formation, but also in my holistic development, including as a person of faith. Everything that I have, that I am, and that I am learning to become is thanks to Mission Keep the Faith which makes possible so many dreams, longings, and hopes.”
